Former District Attorney Boguchansky sentenced to five years in prison

Sentencing of former Prosecutor Boguchansky District of Krasnoyarsk Territory Roman Lychkovskaya for attempting to bribe for the commission of inaction in favor of the briber.
In November last year Lychkovskaya demanded that the head of one of the commercial firms half a million rubles for the failure to verify compliance with the requirements of current legislation on the protection of the environment, forest and land legislation. Businessman agreed to pay a portion of the amount the prosecutor – 300,000 rubles, but during the transaction grafter was arrested.
Lychkovskaya was found guilty of an offense under Part 3. 30, § § “b,” Part 5, Art. 290 of the Criminal Code and sentenced to five years’ imprisonment in a penal colony and a fine of 18 million rubles.
The verdict has not come.
